Wow time sure flys when you add 2 more kids to the mix and your husband travels so much and you get interrupted every few minutes that you forget about your blog entirely! Life is grand we’re still in the same house after much remodeling and finishing the basement. So why move?
As I was growing up I was privileged to be able to travel all over the US because of my dads sales job. We chose to live in a different house every year, Big, Small , Fixer upper, new house , huge house up on the hill house. I feel like I’m writing a dr Seuss book. ;) If something went wrong we moved! Problem solved , and new beginnings always happened for me. Now I feel stuck. Stuck with no where but here. No home away from my own home to go to. Instead my dad now has a motor home which is probably the most ideal thing anyway. Back then tiny homes weren’t a thing. and to be honest a home is a place that family and friends should feel welcome as long as it’s clean I’m content:)! I love renovating though, it brings a sense of accomplishment and it releases stress because when it’s done your not stressed😜 anymore. Ha!
I’ll be honest my life has changed I’m now 35 and I have had many struggles, but I feel strengthened in ways that I can’t explain. My mother passed away in 2014 from Ovarian cancer. The pain I feel from it is unbearable at times. So I turn to my only hope of peace. Prayer. And my burden seems to lighten but not always. I still know Heavenly Father knew I would face this but not alone. Though I feel alone at times with out my mom. She new me sh new my potential So too does Jesus. I’ve just got to remember he’s going to have to fill the void of where I felt my mom. I know she lives on but I know my savior can handle me and direct my course for good . I’ve learned that in order to receive A real answer sometimes I have to sacrifice something usually something in a worldly sense of ideals. I can’t explain. But I know I would give everything up just to be in his presence. I love him and our Heavenly Father and know when I choose the right he blesses me. Well I have to go put kids to bed. So this is it for now tomorrow is going to be another perfect day well I’m going to try my best to have a good attitude about it anyway. Why not! Sometimes that’s all I can do.
